Help us fundraise to bring free and low cost doula services to the San Diego communities.
Greetings Everyone!
For The Village is the first business I started. In 2018, I created FTV in response to wanting a space where I was represented - where I felt in community. FVT provides free doula services to all families in San Diego County area with an emphasis on marginalized groups, such as people of color, LGBTQIA and low income families. As reproductive justice advocates, we have also joined the movement to improve black maternal health outcomes by not only providing doula support but also providing education to support, educate and empower the community!
…and FTV is fundraising! Our “$1 for 1” Campaign provides support for our administrative duties while we manage this network of clients and doulas, and we would graciously accept your donations! We currently provide doula support to around 20 individuals or families per month. If 1 person pledges $1 per birth ($20 per month) for a year that would help to keep our services accessible to the families in San Diego. Our goal is to have 100 people make this pledge.
Please SHARE with your community and on Social Media and help us spread the word and gain support for this campaign.
