When I use this term rich, I am not only talking about financial wealth (particularly noting that “rich” and “affordable” are nuanced terms that are very individual to a person's own experience), but moreover, the experience of being rich in a variety of resources, which can include….
time, community, relationships, money, beauty, and so on.
Pausing to enjoy and savor life is both a privilege (due to systems of oppression) AND a requirement. We need enjoyment and pleasure.
Okay, so I want to be clear. Enjoyment does not have to come only through richness; however, in this post, this is what I am focusing on. This post is not a guide to getting rich. Instead, it’s an invitation to explore, practice, and tend to ways you can feel richer no matter what you have.
