In a time where people are constantly receiving little snippets of information and calls to action (in email, on social media, via text, and so on), it can be easy to get stuck on surface level ideas and not end up doing the deep work required to really impact change.
One way I observe this is the obsession with “diverse representation.” To me, as a business owner, this is the bare minimum or a starting point. I am more interested in liberatory practices and engaging in culture-shifting practices.
