September Full Spectrum Doula Training Cohort begins September 12, 2023. Registration is still open! Register Now
Our 12-week, online Full-Spectrum Doula Training provides doula education for all stages of a birthing person's life.
We also include education around topics and issues facing our communities and the birth world, such as the black perinatal health crisis, food insecurity, and queer and trans birth and family building.
This training is available for new doulas as well as experienced doulas.
Birth Trauma Training | Push Thru Therapy | $135 | September 8 | ‘Birth trauma’ is defined if the birthing parents feels distressed during and/or after childbirth. It can be defined as physical, emotional and/or psychological trauma. Birth trauma not only impacts how a birthing parent may feel about their birthing experience, but it also can increase their chances of experiencing any perinatal mood and anxiety disorder as well as how they bond with their baby. In this training, we will examine the most common situations of birth trauma, interventions and coping skills to assist a client who’s seeking therapy after having experienced birth trauma, and much more.

Development Specialists | Birth Workers of Color | Part-Time | Responsibilities encompass organizational needs assessment, designing and executing training initiatives, setting practical event budgets aligned with fundraising projections, contributing to grant proposals and event development, and proactively seeking and engaging potential donors and sponsors.
Program Manager | Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health | Full-Time | The Manager, Programs is responsible for the overall development, management, oversight, and implementation of program activities and deliverables, to include project initiatives, documents, program planning, budgets, contracts, grants, awards, evaluation and reporting, personnel management, and financial reporting.
