Community Events and Resources
Check out upcoming events, explore resources, apply for jobs and help out our communities!
We made it through the first month of the new year! January was a warm up and the time spent clearing out old energy and bringing in new energy was well worth it. February can used as a time to find clarity and create action plans for the rest of the year. I’m taking my time to navigate this new space and new year. I hope you’re patient with yourself and continue to pour into you while taking charge in your space!
The Birth Neoterist Newsletter is a community space. This is a space where guest writing is welcomed, guest speakers are invited, and community events are shared. Add a comment below or send us an email at info@sabiawade.com with any events you have coming up this season and we will add them in. Or you can contact us if you’d like to share your story on this platform.
This month we have an Action! playlist, upcoming events, mutual aid for community members and job opportunities.

Georgia Needs A Reproductive Freedom Act Petition | With Roe v. Wade overturned, our right to abortion care is in the hands of whatever state we live in. Each state is now able to protect or ban abortions within its borders. As of July 21st, 2022, Georgians are living under a new state law that forbids most abortions after fetal cardiac activity is present (around 6 weeks of pregnancy). When you sign, we can start showing each of our state lawmakers just how many reproductive freedom supporters live in their district. The more of us who sign, the more powerfully we can organize.
