Malu is an educator, advocate, empathetic, creative, seeker of liberation for all.
Malu has been inspired values of social justice, anti-racism and human rights and works daily as the Coordinator of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) to educate adult learners on the systemic issues plaguing marginalized communities, the best practices for care of the suffering other, and the fundamental skills of introspective reflection for personal growth.
Throughout their career, they have always striven to combine theory and praxis as they support persons to become the best versions of themselves in order to navigate and overcome the barriers that impede their personal and professional wellbeing.
Malu is committed to serving their communities in all of their many forms. As a continuation of their values, they serve on both local and national boards and ensure that all decisions are guided by the voices and needs of BIPOC, queer and other marginalized communities.
Malu enjoys spending time with great friends, reading good books, and taking adventures in nature.
