2023 Virtual Black Maternal Mental Health Summit | July 15 | 10AM-4PM EST | FREE | Join Sabia as she speaks at the 2023 BMMHS. The BMMHS was created to build community and support for Black birthing people and their families, with a focus on mental health before and after childbirth.

It has introduced hundreds of anti-trans bills in statehouses across the US, ramped up attacks on trans people around the world in courts and legal systems, and waged a campaign of escalating vigilante violence. Now is the time for analyzing why the right is focused on trans people as primary targets of class war from above. And now is the time for organized efforts at building broad solidarity with trans people to fight back. Join frontline trans theorists and activists for a discussion of how “Transgender Marxism” can explain the backlash and help guide the resistance.
Transgender and Non-binary HangOut LGBT HERO | July 13 or July 27 | 1-2:30PM CT | FREE | Trans+ Hangout is a online social and support group for people to come together and connect with one another in a safe and friendly non-judgmental environment. Over the course of the sessions, they will be chatting all things queer. You can talk about your day, current events, interests, whatever you like. They understand that the importance of meeting other transgender people and want to create a safe space together to get to know each other. You are welcome to communicate however you feel comfortable, with cameras on or off or just using text chat.

CDC LGBTQ+ Youth Resources | Positive environments are important to help all youth thrive. However, the health needs of LGBTQ+ Youth can differ from their heterosexual peers. Find resources from the CDC, other government agencies, and community organizations for LGBTQ+ Youth, their friends, educators, parents, and family members to support positive environments here.
Human Rights Campaign QTBIPOC Mental Health and Well-Being | While LGBTQ+ adults of color experience similar rates of mental health challenges as LGBTQ+ adults generally, they receive unequal rates of diagnoses. A rate of 29% of LGBTQ+ adults of color say they have been diagnosed with a depressive order from a provider, compared to 39% of the LGBTQ+ adults broadly, a ten point gap.
