Bio
Maura Bobbitt is a death rights activist in San Antonio, TX. After working in environmental conservation, she made the choice to become a licensed funeral director in order to help create access in her community to meaningful, natural death practices that honor both life and death. She also organizes community events that create opportunities for death education and connection. Maura believes that good deaths help us lead good lives, and that accepting our deaths is an act of revolution.
